  • Sub-titling text add-in for Microsoft PowerPoint (STAMP)
    • STAMP is a free add-on for PowerPoint that allows authors to add, edit, display, and export closed captions for audio and video files placed in PowerPoint files. End-users may also install and use the add-on to toggle the closed captions on/off.
    • Compatibility: Windows (7, Vista, XP) running Office 2010 or newer).
  • LecShare and LecShare Pro
    • These are easy-to-use tools that convert PowerPoint into a variety of accessible formats. The free Lite version supports conversion to HTML and Word. The commercial Pro version adds support for adding audio and exporting to QuickTime and MPEG-4 videos. Automatically creates synchronized captions from the Lecturer Notes field.
    • Compatibility: Windows (7, Vista, and XP) running Office 2010 and earlier--not Office 2013) and Macintosh (OS X 10.3 through 10.6 only--not 10.7 or later) running Office 2011 or earlier).
  • Accessible Wizard for Microsoft Office
    • This is a commercial add-on for PowerPoint and Word that converts documents into accessible HTML.
    • Compatibility: Windows (Office 2007 and earlier only--not compatible with Office 2013 or Office 2010).
