Branding

There are three image source files that are needed for buidling a Teaching Commons site. These images are used for establishing a unique identity for each different Teaching Commons site. They are as follows:

  • Logo Source File (optimized in gif format)
  • Top Banner Source File (optimized in jpg format)
  • Welcome Banner Source File (optimized in jpg format)

The logo source file is for generating the logo for the site.

The top banner source file is for creating a unique feel to the site. The source file contains a dummy image that should be replaced with an image that represents the Teaching Commons site.

The welcome banner source file is for creating a banner for the home page. It is positioned as the first item in the main content area.

All of the source files are in Photoshop format and can be optimized for the web. Font requirements: Trajan Pro and Copperplate Gothic Light.
