Banner Samples

The CSU Teaching Commons sites all use the same design templates. The common elements of the top banner are the CSU logo, tan horizonal rule, title of the site in the Trajan Pro font, CSU seal, and the large grey tab with a MERLOT search box and discipline-specific links to MERLOT. These elements are part of the design template and don't vary from site to site. The customizable part of the banner is the background photograph, which you can see in the samples below.

If you have specific ideas for the background photo on your banner, please let the CDL know before we begin building your website. Typically we use stock photography for banner images and we can find photographs to match your requests. If we don't recieve any instructions from you we'll use our best judgement to create a graphic that complements the topic of your website.
